The Jellywhales captured the Presentation award at the FLL State event held at Saint Mary’s College. The team did a great job impressing the judge with their research project on the genetically modified plant the Blugapotota.
A huge thank you to Bunnings at North Wollongong for running a PPE and Tool safety session for us today. The students got a lot out of it and it will be invaluable once we hit the FRC build season in a few weeks.
The Elonera Jellywhales will be representing Elonera Montessori Robotics at the National Competition at Macquarie University on 8-9th December 2018 after winning the Presentation award at the State competition.We wish the team all the best and hope they have lots of fun.
Galaxy Gliders, Gravity Shift and Jellywhales will be showcasing their robots and presentations at the Wollongong Regional event at TiGs school on Saturday 10th November. If previous years are anything to go by it will be a fun event with a few tense moments and lots of dancing.We wish all teams the best of luck and hope that all the work pays off and the robot behaves on the day.
