Facilitated by experienced robotics students and led by parent volunteers, Holiday and After School Robotics are a great introduction for  children aged 5-9 to our robotics programs.

After School Robotics

Embers  Robotics run an after school robotics program on Tuesdays  from 4pm-5pm each week at our workshop at Wollongong TAFE. The term 3  Tuesday class is full, please contact us if you wish to be waitlisted for this class. We will also run a class on Thursday afternoons from 4-5pm (No OOSH pickup). This class has plenty of space. Please register here if you are interested in this class.

Embers run programs are open to all students aged 5-9. The 2026 term 3 Tuesday class starts again on 28th July 2026, the Thursday class will start on the 30th July. Each class  costs $17/lesson and are payable in full at the beginning of the term.

Generally a term is 8 weeks, but occasionally may be 7, 9 or 11 weeks. All lessons utilise the Lego Education WeDo 2.0 kits and Spike Prime kits.

We also have some Spike Essential  kits  which our students are enjoying as well as two Spike Prime expansion sets (courtesy of a BlueScope/WIN grant) and some students have been dabbling in Scratch programming.

Note: For Elonera Montessori School students the “walking  bus” is available for anyone who wishes to have their child collected from EMS OOSH and taken over to the TAFE (Note: only available for the Tuesday class).
